A really nice portrait is a precious thing. Which is while I do not rush a sitting. Please count on about an hour at the studio for a basic sitting.
Sometimes babies need to take breaks and small children need time to warm to their surroundings to get those natural expressions we want so much.

Its a good idea to think of how you will want to utilize your images , whether it be in an album, framed on a wall, or as gifts for family and friends
This will help in choosing backgrounds and clothing changes.

And bring anything you may wish to have in the portraits with you and and some clothing changes, to help get the most out of your sitting.

Err towards simplicity when dressing for your portraits. Solid colors work best.
Try to stay away from overly bright, logos, and strongly patterned clothing. They take focus away from the subjects face .

Everyone in a portrait should be dressed in similarly styled clothes. it can be strange to see t-shirts and ties in the same group
Casual or formal is entirely up to you, but dress as if you are doing the same activity together.

Bring a few clothing changes with you, we can do several looks if everyone is up for it.

In fact, the less preparations you do the better. Practicing sitting nice and smiling before the appointment can lead to stiff unnatural expressions.

Try to avoid telling your child to smile during the sitting as well, I am willing to work to win the natural glowing expressions you will treasure.

Have fun during the sitting. The best expressions come when every is enjoying themselves.

Kids respond quickly to stress, keeping a light air about the sitting will help them relax. Don't worry if they aren't 'behaving' during the shoot,
they may be nervous and just reacting to the strange environment. I will work to make them feel confortable.

There is a sitting fee of 55 € in studio or 95 € on location.
